A Day at the Farm

Yesterday we had so much fun as a family. In Washington Fields they have the Stahelin Family Farm. During October this family makes their farm into fun for everyone. They have a corn maze, field of screams (haunted thing) Yummy food, farm playground, petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch. We didn't get to do the corn maze and the field of screams because we were with Mason, but we still had so much fun! Mason loved playing in the hay at the playground. Then we took him to the petting zoo. They had llamas, miniature horse, big horses, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, roosters, ducks, little piggy's, and a huge pot bellied pig! Mason loved the little pigs cause they were oinking and kept touching mason's fingers with their snouts. (Gross right, but Mason kept trying to put his fingers up every animals nostrils?!) He was also so funny with the chickens, and they were big chickens. They were just running out and about everyone and some of them were as big as Mason. I was kind of nervous cause one could have easily taken him down. After the petting zoo we got to ride a tractor out to the pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin. We found a perfect one but they were $7 there so we decided to get one at Walmart for $2.50. Check out our fun pictures from the farm!!

It's a rainy day in sunny St. George

So today we woke up and it was pouring outside, and this weekend was actually the ST. George Marathon. Everyone who traveled to run in this marathon ran in heavy rain all morning. I guess its like the second time in history it has ever rained on the day of the marathon. It's also conference weekend and so we have really enjoyed opening all our windows and feeling cool air and smelling the rain while we relaxed watching conference. Well during the break in the sessions we decided to go up to pioneer park and hike around the rocks for fun. It was nice to enjoy the outdoors without it being too hot, we even needed jackets. Anyways here are some pictures.
