Update!

Update-
Its been awhile since I posted because we have not had our computer up and running until recently. I also didn't have much to talk about so here is a little update. We did move to American Fork so I could be a manager for some storage units. The job works out great for us because I can work with Mason from home and help pay for some of lifes expences. Parker still hasn't found a job yet besides here and there jobs. He still manages to make some pretty good money though. I got another part time job working for Modbod. They are just weekly roadshows in different Costcos where I get to pick the times I work and get a couple of free shirts here and there and some good discounts. I enjoy it because it does give me something else to do. So far we like it here. Mason is growing up so fast and is becoming a lot better with his speech. Everyday he says new words. He also learned how to crawl out of his crib so we have been challenged with trying to get him asleep in a toddler bed. Overall he has been good so I cant complain. I do find him sometimes in the middle of the night randomy on the floor! Yesterday at church he was the cutest little thing! He has learned to participate in prayers by kneeling, bowing his head, and kind of closing his eyes! I am so impressed with how well behaved he is. During the sacrament hymms he kept wanting to hold his own hymm book and sit in his own chair. While the congregation was singing he was trying to too! I wish I could have recorded it because he was practically trying to serenade to the lady next to us! He was so loud, but too cute to get mad at because he was just trying to do what everyone else was. Anyways thats about it for the update!

Fathers Day-
So this year for fathers day we made a last minute trip to Idaho Falls. We really enjoyed going home for the holiday to see the special fathers in ourl lives. Parker had not been to Idaho since Christmas and still had not seen his families new home. The trip was short but it was still lots of fun. For Fathers day Parker chose to go golfing instead of recieving a present but Mason still got his Daddy his favorite candy and a book called Day out with Daddy to read together. He also was lucky to get a big delicious steak to eat for dinner. Parker is such a good father to Mason. Mason cant get enough of his Daddy, he is so much like him, especially his little smirks and funny faces! We love Daddy so much and are very grateful for him! We love both of our fathers too. Grandpa Anderson is such an amazing person. We look up to him so much. He is the kindest and most considerate person. We know we can always come to him in anytime of need. Dad is the perfect example of a father. He loves his wife so much and treats her like the world. He loves his kids and the gospel and through his daily choices we see a great example of a father. Jace is also a very good father. Although I know he wishes he could do more he is always there for us. Parker and him have a very good relationship and gives excellent advice to his son. He is a very good listener through our tribulations. We know he is always there to talk even if its in the wee hours of the morning!

While Parker was golfing, Aunt Kellie, Grandma, and Mom went to the Greenbelt for Mason's first adventure of feeding the ducks. Wow, those geese were hungry! They were hissing at us and were chasing after us! Mason loved it. He kept trying to pet them, but they were so mean. He was just about the same height as them and I would give him a piece of bread but he would not throw it fast enough. Anyways one goose just went up and bit his hand! Mason didn't care but I ran over and picked him up and wouldn't let him back down in fear they might trample him! He kept crying wanting down, poor little fella, hopefully next time they wont be monsters!

We also experienced Mason's first campfire. It was so fun to see him with so much excitement in his eyes. He is such a cutie! And he takes after his Mommy and absolutely loves smores!!

He is also the most awful kid to try to take pictures of! He is just going and going and will never stop to look at the camera. Hopefully sometime I can get a decent picture of him!

Moving again....

So yes we are moving again, and actually I am writing this post at Parker's grandparents because I have been without a computer. We decided to apply for a job managing some storage units in American Fork, UT and we would just go from there. Well we went for an interview a week ago on Monday then on Tuesday night we got a phone call that we got the job and that he needed me by Friday! Tell me about it, its been crazy! So needless to say we came down Friday and Parker had to go back today to St. George for 2 weeks to finish up his job down there. We are really excited because it will be a way I can help provide for the family. I have to work 3 hours a day, monday through friday in the office which my apartment is attached to so Mason can come in and out. We get free rent and utilities so it will be a great opportunity to save money. BUT we miss everyone down in St. George. I already miss my friends Meridee, Erin, and Nikki. And Mason misses their kids Jackson, Harley, and Baylee! They were so cute together and it was so much fun to have a group of friends like them. We will also miss Ross and Briar our next door neighbors who the boys have competition on scaring each other! Parker will also miss Kasey and the guys at work too. We loved being down there and meeting awesome friends like you guys and I miss you already, but we know the spirit told us this was the move to make! Wish us luck on the big change!

Girls Weekend

This past weekend we had our annual girls weekend. We had lots of fun making cards, going swimming, making girl flower bands (sigh cause I am the only one without a girl) and we also went to the kite festival to let the kids play around. It was so hot though the adults all came back with killer sun burns. I am so thankful my neighbor had some aloe vera to slather on. Poor pregnant Kellie got the worse burn which I know makes pregnancy more difficult. Although we ended in pain we still had a fun weekend.

He enjoyed it, me not so much

After going down the slide (he has learned his nose)

Wahoo!

This picture does not justify how big it is but we thought it was so funny showing the size difference between little Kamryn and the the gigantic pizza!

We really were not this hungry. The waitor told us the size below would not feed us. Ya Right! We only had 3 women and 4 picky kids! Higher bill means higher tip for him, I guess.

He discovered this a little before leaving and cried when we had to go.
Loves to splash!

Dishwasher & Easter

So if you lived down here you would know that the dishes never look that clean. Whether its the dishwasher or the hard water (I think its both) We have pretty much resorted to washing our dishes by hand. So with no use for the dishwasher we realized that Mason has found a way to use it. He has figured out how to open it and stand on it so he can reach something he wants on the counter. Today I found him snacking on some barbeque chips. We don't want him climbing up in it, but I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he was and had to pull out the camera!

For Easter this year we just stayed down in St. George, but we still had lots of fun. Saturday night we decorated easter eggs and Sunday we went to church and then had dinner over at our place with 5 couples and their kids. It was nice to have a really good Easter meal together since none of us live near family. We are really enjoying our friends down here, but we still miss our family a lot!Mason got a really fun Easter basket filled with golf clubs, a puzzle, Tadoodles (toddler markers), coloring books, bubbles, and some new sandals for summer. He loves his puzzle but his favorite is his golf clubs. He walks around everywhere with them. He is so cute with his big pot belly too!

Early Easter Suprise!

So I have been complaining the past several months how I wanted to get a new camera to take better pictures. Then my camera started to turn off when we would try to take a picture even though it was fully charged. My husband was really late coming home from school because he came home with a suprise for me, a new digital camera!!!I was so excited! It is for Easter and mother's day but he cant keep a suprise quiet so I got it early, but I am glad! I haven't been able to play with it that much but I took a few snapshots during Mason's bath tonight. I can record video too but I haven't been able to figure out posting it. He even gave in and got me a pink one! I can't wait to play around with it more and hopefully soon I will get photoshop too. I love my husband so much, he is so thoughtful too. I am such a critic and have to read at least 10 positive customer reviews before I buy anything and he even looked those up before hand too! Thanks so much Sweetie!

This is as close as he gets to going under the water!

Oops Forgot!

So here I am thinking I have no pictures to post for the longest time. Well, I totally realized I forgot to put up the pictures when Parker's sister Whitni came down with her boyfriend to hang out with us. We had fun climbing up the red rocks and hitting a bucket of balls. We wish we could see them more often, but it was fun to spend a day of activities together.

Come what may and love it

So in the past two weeks I came across this talk by Joseph B. Wirthlin and have probably watched it twenty times since. I just love this talk and I think it is what we could all use in our crazy lives. I am always looking toward the future saying "oh when parker is done with school our life will be great", "When we get to settle down I will be better mother, wife, member.....", "Once parker has a good job and we have a house I will be able to do this and that". Truth is I know I can't just be looking forward. We only get to be twenty once, have the joy of toddlers for a few years, and enjoy the youthful years of parents before our lives get even more crazy. I love this talk because when I think of those words "Come what may and love it" that means today. Be happy for today. Be happy that I get to stay home with my sweet loving son and to have that special time with him. Be happy that although I don't see my husband that much he is sacrificing and working hard for our family. I have decided that I am going to make "Come what may and love it" my everyday motto, so hopefully I can truly be grateful for what I have and love it. I love this video and its very special to me so I hope you take the time to watch it!

You will have to turn the music off on our vacation slide. I cant figure out how to get it off.
