Christmas

Christmas was a blast, we got to spend it at my parents house and we enjoyed every minute of it. The day after Christmas my awesome Dad took us all snowboarding while grandma stayed home to babysit the little ones. We had to much fun, and I wish it could have lasted longer!

This year for Thanksgiving we went to the Davis Household and had lots of fun. It was Jason's first big holiday with the fam, and suprisingly he isn't scared off yet! (JK you guys) Shannon decided to start a new tradition to play bingo every holiday get together, and tell you what, it got pretty intense and competitive. Thanks to my hubby who won the most we got sweet hook ups from Shannons awesome prizes. We ended up coming home with gift cards for $20 to Olive Garden and $15 Subway, hairspray & lotion (which will prob end up in my stocking on christmas) and a chocolate orange...yummy! This picture is their game faces to play bingo.

Jason and Whitni made the turkey which was awesome....especially for their first time making one!

Their Masterpiece!

Parky with his Mom

This was before the makeup and hair was done...yikes!

This was so cute, Mason and Kooper hid in a corner and were sharing the crackers. IT was so much fun to see these two interact together. They either got a long or were fighting. At one time both of them were fighting over a ball parker had and parker said, "what do you say?" and they both responded so fast yelling "please!" It was so funny. Thanksgiving was a blast thanks to Shannon, she put a lot of hard work to get the family together and we are thankful we could go spend some time with the Davis's.
CHUCKIE CHEESE'S
We went as a family to Chuckie Cheese with our friends the Ponds. Parker and Nate were on the UVU soccer team and they were the only players who had a kid or were even married. We get along great and we both have two cute little boys. Pretty much we had more fun than the kids because they got parker and I hooked to a game called flamin finger. Anyways its addicting so as an adult at chuckie cheese go over to the game and have some fun yourself! We hope to hang out with them again soon!

This is sometimes what we have to do to get a picture!

Its soon to be Christmas!!

This week I have had the strongest urge to get my Christmas decorations out already! I have to keep reminding myself that its still too far away, but you know next week is the week before Thanksgiving- so maybe I can convince Parker to go get the tree! So to get my fix, I just decided to change my blog to Christmas! My question to everyone is, When is the earliest you think you should put up decorations? Anyways, Happy Holidays everyone!

Halloween

So this Halloween Parker was in Boise for regionals for soccer. They did well and placed 3rd but I was left at home to work and to do the Ward Halloween Party. Parker and I are the ward party chairmans and it was our first party we were in charge. It took a lot of work, but it was a success. It was the biggest turn out they have ever had for the Halloween party. Needless to say, I am glad its over but now its on to planning Christmas! I took Mason to the trunk or treat with our friends the Kings. Mason wanted to eat the candy right when he got it. He was a cute spider!

These are just some pictures of Parkers game against BYU. It was funny because when I showed up UVU was warming up intense and BYU was not even warming up and were just talking to their friends like it was a shoe in game. They were shocked when UVU scored and the final score was 1-0. It was exciting to see Parker because he enjoyed it so much.

Parker's Soccer Pictures

I have been talking a lot about Parker's busy schedule with soccer, but I finally got a chance to take pictures. The team has done well and is ranked #4 in their league (toughest league in Utah for club teams) and will be going to regionals at the end of this month. There they will play some big schools including Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, and Gonzaga. They got some good games ahead of them and hopefully they can play their absolute best. Soon they will be playing BYU which is considered a semi-pro team. Parker is really excited to play at the stadium under the lights. They are also going to be announcing each of the players age, number, hometown, highschool, and major. This doesn't happen a ton in soccer so the team is really excited. Never playing soccer or having any family play soccer I realized it is a very hard sport to take pictures of. Your far off of the field, the contact with the ball is short, and they are never still! On top of that you have a two year old who loves to take pictures and is yelling "Cheese" at you because he wants a chance to take some. Needless to say these are the best we got. I will hopefully get some good ones at the BYU game and post them.

Just a little update

So I have been horrible at taking pictures lately. So horrible, that in fact I missed a monumental day at the Davis residence. Parker turned 21! He decided he wanted to spend the weekend up at Kellie & Dan's house and my brother Craig decided to join too. It was fun to just hang out with everyone. I feel so bad because I didn't take one picture and where we were at someone elses house I never even made Parker a cake! (I know horrible wife)But the past is behind us, and the excitement of really turning 21 when you don't participate in any of the activities of turning 21 is pretty lame. So anyways HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARKER! Your an amazing Dad and husband and Mason and I love you so much!

Life has been pretty much the same. Work, soccer, and poopy diapers! Mason brings more than poopy diapers, but its getting pretty old. Its crazy that in 6 months I will probably be starting to potty train him! He is such a sweetheart and is always giving us plenty of hugs and kisses. If you didn't know Mason was a little behind on his speech and is in a program to develop his vocabulary. I think it has worked well and he has been learning lots of new words. He is a momma's boy (and I love it)! He takes good care of me. He loves to help me empty the dishwasher and tonight he helped me make dinner. I couldn't ask for a better son, and I love him so much!

As for me, its just about the same. Although, one excitement at working at Alpine Storage is when they do mystery calls and we just had one. Someone will call for info about renting and the phone call will be recorded. They grade us and then we get rewarded with some extra mula! If you score 80-89 you get the grade in dollars but if you get 90+ they double the check. Sadly last time I got an 89 the worst score because you are so close to doubling, but this time I got a 96! Pretty pathetic, but that is most of the excitement at my work.

Mason is pretty sad though because he broke our DVD player and we can no longer have our Mommy and Mason movie nights, at least until Santa comes!
Until next time!

Mason, Mommy, and Movies!

Parker has been pretty busy lately so it leaves Mason and I on our own most nights. One night I decided to make it special and have our first little mother and son date. I went to redbox and rented a movie for Mason which ended up being Elmo in Grouchland. It was pretty cute because it was about Elmo and finding his stolen blanket (which is his best friend). Mason has one of those blankets. It is so gross because he carries it all over the place. He plays with it outside, then sleeps with it, then eats with it on his lap. Ya, gross I know. I literally wash it every load of laundry I do. Besides the point, we have an extra mattress that was still out in the living room from when my Mom came to visit last week. I pulled it in front of the t.v. grabbed a bunch of pillows and blankets, popped popcorn, got us each drinks, and let Mason stay up late with Mom. He thought it was so fun. He ended up wanting to play the whole time, but he still enjoyed the movie. It was a fun night of just me and Mason and I am looking forward to having another sometime soon. I had to take pictures because Mason just was loving every minute of it.
