Fun weeked with the Anderson Family

We had lots of fun this weekend when Craig and Trisha were down. Craig had to come down for business so Trish and I hung out while are husbands were at work. They decided to stay a couple days longer at our house to hang out. Friday we took the kids to this fun park. We played with this toy that would spin you around so fast till you were dizzy, and then you had to get off and try to not fall. It was so hilarious I wish we had a video camera, I just about ran into the fence.

The next day we went to Snow Canyon, on a little hike that had some caves in the ground. Once we got to the caves Trish and I stayed back with the kids while Craig and Parker went exploring. It didn't take too long because the cave was pretty short.

How precious is this picture!

We just got out of the cave

Taking a rest on Dad's shoulder

He was ready to get out and play. Isn't he so cute!

We also had fun going out to eat at the Pizza Factory. After we drove to the temple to look at the Christmas lights then headed out for icecream!
Thanks Craig and Trisha for the great weekend!

Oh Ya, it snowed in St. George last night!

The Joys of Toddlerhood!!

I can't believe how big Mason is getting. Everyday he is learning something new, and usually it's something Mom and Dad don't want him to know!! He is so crazy right now, but so funny at the same time. Most of the time he is just out of control. His favorite things to do right now is to turn off the tv when we are watching it and run right away. It's like he knows he is going to get in trouble so he just books it down the hall. He also has been into climbing on top of the dinner table! It's frustrating because I don't want him to get hurt, but he just thinks its funny. He is getting smarter though, the other day he wanted something on the kitchen counter so he pushed a chair over to the counter so he could climb up the chair to reach what he wanted! He is just getting such a handful! I am worried about him though cause he is always unplugging outlets. And right now its the christmas tree lights. Whats even more scary is he tries to put it back in! Anyone have any advice? I keep all outlets I can out of reach, but some I just cant hide!!Well he is tougher than he ever has been before, but is still so much fun! He loves to pull tricks on us and he has the cutest mischevious smile and we love him! But WOW toddlers are hard!!And we have just begun!

It's a Girl Family!!

I am so lucky to have all the amazing girls in my life!!! I love each of them soo much, and can't imagine my life without them. All the girls in the family are so amazing and we have such a great time together!! There have been countless times at the dinner table when somethings happens and the girls start laughing so hard. We cry and can hardly breath!! Those are my favorite memories of us! We always try to make an effort to have girl weekends throughout the year, and they are a blast (sometimes we spend more money than we wanted, but hey our husbands don't have to know! Ha JK)I am really so thankful for everything they do for me and I feel like we have such a close bond that some families that are less fortunate don't have! Each one is there for me no matter what! Even if the car ride is long! First there is mom, and even though she was my mother when I was young, we are now such good friends!! I couldn't have a better mother, she has helped me through so much in my life from big trials to making me cuter pj's for pajama day at school, and running through a Las Vegas casino while I was puking to find a bathroom! She still loves me even though I threw up on her twice that trip!I love you Mom!! Carrie is so amazing, she gives great advice and is always willing to listen to me, or even drive across the state to help me! Ever since I was little she always included me and made lasting memories in my childhood! Love you Big Sis! Kellie, my goofy sister, the one I shared a room with for almost 10 years of my life!! Trying to sneak out of our bedroom without getting caught. She is so cool, we have a lot in common, and love doing the same things. We have had so many good memories including the time you ate it during ballroom tour and couldn't get up! I was laughing so hard I could bearly dance! Your amazing Kellie!! Trisha, I couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law! She is so sweet, and when we visit is always willing to stay up late to enjoy each other! And she has the sweetest laugh! She always looks at the brighter side of things even if its hard. I can't wait for December when you come and visit! Hey I might as well throw in the other girls! I love Taycee Joy, she has always been my buddy and still remembers the hand shake I taught her forever ago! She is so caring and such a good little helper! Talia is a doll, she is so beautiful, and loves to laugh! And I have only seen Kamryn once, but I am looking for some good memories with her, she is so beautiful! It's a long post, but I am so grateful for all of them, and the joys each one brings into my life. I don't have any good pictures of us though, because whenever the family gets together Mom takes the pictures!! This will have to do and I am looking forward to seeing you all on Thanksgiving, and we will definately have to get a girl picture, on MY camera!! Love you ALL!!

Okay so not the best picture, Hey the sun was in our eyes!!! But it's the only one with all the girls in it. (well plus Ethan & Mason's cute bum!)

I haven't posted for a long time and so I have a lot to update you on. These first pictures were fun so I had to put them up. Dad was working late on a Friday night, so this is Mason and Mom just goofing off together taking some pictures in our PJ's.

This was Halloween night, and Parker had to work so I just took Mason out for a little while. He was a monkey for Halloween and was such a cute one too. I think his tail is just so cute, and he was so funny cause I taught him how to say ooh ooh ahh ahh like a monkey. Once we left the house we was on a mad dash down the road!

This was his halloween t-shirt grandma Davis got him, and it glows in the dark!

These pictures were before Mason was going to get his pictures taken. He is such a stud isn't he!

A Day at the Farm

Yesterday we had so much fun as a family. In Washington Fields they have the Stahelin Family Farm. During October this family makes their farm into fun for everyone. They have a corn maze, field of screams (haunted thing) Yummy food, farm playground, petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch. We didn't get to do the corn maze and the field of screams because we were with Mason, but we still had so much fun! Mason loved playing in the hay at the playground. Then we took him to the petting zoo. They had llamas, miniature horse, big horses, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, roosters, ducks, little piggy's, and a huge pot bellied pig! Mason loved the little pigs cause they were oinking and kept touching mason's fingers with their snouts. (Gross right, but Mason kept trying to put his fingers up every animals nostrils?!) He was also so funny with the chickens, and they were big chickens. They were just running out and about everyone and some of them were as big as Mason. I was kind of nervous cause one could have easily taken him down. After the petting zoo we got to ride a tractor out to the pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin. We found a perfect one but they were $7 there so we decided to get one at Walmart for $2.50. Check out our fun pictures from the farm!!

It's a rainy day in sunny St. George

So today we woke up and it was pouring outside, and this weekend was actually the ST. George Marathon. Everyone who traveled to run in this marathon ran in heavy rain all morning. I guess its like the second time in history it has ever rained on the day of the marathon. It's also conference weekend and so we have really enjoyed opening all our windows and feeling cool air and smelling the rain while we relaxed watching conference. Well during the break in the sessions we decided to go up to pioneer park and hike around the rocks for fun. It was nice to enjoy the outdoors without it being too hot, we even needed jackets. Anyways here are some pictures.

Parker's Birthday!!

Parker just turned 20 last Saturday! Kellie and Dan came down and we had so much fun. The boyz went golfing earlier that day while the girls went shopping. Later we went out to dinner with them and Kasey, Meridee, and Jackson. We went to Red Lobster for endless shrimp. We came back to our place and just hung out and had cake and icecream. Kellie and Dan got him a total gag gift! The guys played football and poker and my man beat everyone in both!!

We are Here!

So, we have now been in St. George for almost 2 weeks and I still haven't posted it yet. I have been putting it off because I was hoping my camera cord for the computer would have appeared to me by now but turns out I left it at home. I will be getting it next week so soon there will be pictures up of our new home. About our new home, WE LOVE IT! I think we will stay here till Parker gets done with school. Which is crazy to think because that will be in five or six years meaning Mason will be 6! Our place is so nice, we have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a 2 car garage! We have a fairly big backyard which is such a waste because there is no grass, but at least our front lawn is grass. There is so much stuff so close to us. We have a pool here, and there are two really nice and fun parks close by, bike and walking paths all over, a fishing pond is across the street, and we are fairly close to the lake. We haven't taken advantage of any of those yet but hey we just got here. There is somewhat of a downfall at our place. We have had 7 crickets in our house that chirp all night, like 5 cockroaches and those are fast, and then we even had a lizard in our bathroom! Parker doesn't mind them but I always scream when I see anything. Well We love it here but we do miss all our family and friends. Feel free to come anytime Please!!

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.
